On the 18th of May 2019, with the artists from Le Carré des Artistes, we hosted an event for Les Fenetres Qui Parlent (et Chantent) at Place Méditerranée and along the Rue Beaumarchais in Lille Sud. For the event we created a series of paste-ups and stickers that generated a visually stimulating environment and encouraged pedestrians to discover different areas of the suburb. The event was inaugurated by a singing walk by the artist collective ‘Du vent dans les mots’ (the wind in the the words) who kindly performed some original work inspired by our paste ups and stickers. The singing walk drew a link between another block of artist studios in Lille Sud, the ‘Laboratoire d’humanité’ and Le Carré des Artistes.
